New Equipment
Lathes
We have expanded our line of lathes with Mazak, leaders in milling, turning, CNC controls, and automation.
The Mazak Powermaster is designed for heavy duty cutting of large diameter and long shaft work projects. Its 12 ½” thru hole on the chuck allows us to machine large and long parts for customers in the oil and gas sector. The 120” long bed allows for easy access and chip flow.
Milling
In addition to the Powermaster, we’ve added the Mazak Slant Turn 500M to our shop. It’s a powerful, high torque, heavy duty turning center for large part turning applications. It’s especially useful for oilfield pipes and valves, turbines, components, and aircraft engine parts for aerospace clients. Some additional characteristics include:
- 12-position non-lift turrets for rapid tool indexing
- Spindle C-axis positioning for slotting cuts and precision drilled holes
- Powerful rotary tool turret for secondary mill/drill operations
- NC servo-driven tailstocks
- Mazak MX Hybrid Roller Guide System
Multi Axis
We are excited to also expand our line of DMG Mori machines with an additional NT 4300 DCG.
This all-round machine allows for simultaneous 5-axis machining of complex parts. Its twin 15” spindles allow for higher cutting performance and accuracy. The 60” bed, 100 tool changer, and lower turret is an excellent asset for aerospace applications such as turbine blades.
